Taking photos and capturing a moment through my phone has always been a constant in my life for many years. I would beg my friends to go take pictures because I loved creating memories, prompting, and editing to see the final results come together. However, there was something else that really pushed me towards pursuing photography - being a nurse. Hearing my patients story, seeing a wife holding her husbands hand in final moments, seeing the recovery nobody thought was possible, the tears/laughter/love and everything else. There is so much emotion and detail in those moments - a lot like during a wedding ceremony when the groom sees his bride for the first time in her dress, family sessions where you know your child won't be that same size again, and everything in between. This is why I gravitate towards a style that makes you feel something - I want to tell a story, your story! One that freezes a moment in time that you can look back on and remember how that moment felt.
