Each month, we highlight our Vows That Wow to showcase weddings that beautifully reflect the couples at the heart of them. This month, we’re excited to feature Marissa and Kurtis’ celebration, a day filled with vintage charm, thoughtful details, and plenty of personality. From the elegant setting to the moments that had everyone laughing, this was a wedding that felt every bit as beautiful as it was fun.
Marissa and Kurtis’ wedding brought vintage vibes and modern personality to The Chateau Event Center. With an elegant gown from Jasmine Lily, a classic suit from Men’s Wearhouse, beautiful florals from Bombus Botanics, styling by Montana Event Co., and beautiful rentals from Montana Party Rentals.
But for Marissa, the biggest takeaway was simple: “It’s not that serious! No one will remember the hours spent steaming linens. They’ll remember seeing the couple actually enjoying themselves.” And that’s exactly what they did — from reading their vows in front of their favorite people to a sweet father-daughter dance and a memorable speech from Kurtis’ grandfather.
Marissa Rosenbaum Photography captured the day beautifully, balancing polished portraits and details with the candid moments that made the celebration feel like theirs. Oakley Dimond Photography joined as second shooter, while Joe’s DJ Service kept the energy high throughout the lively reception.
And then there were the details that made it especially fun: an Italian ice truck, a shotski, and plenty of time on the dance floor. It was a wedding that looked beautiful, felt personal, and, most importantly, gave Marissa and Kurtis plenty of reasons to enjoy the day!
