Todd Cowart Music

I’ve been doing this music thing for the last 30 years and I consider myself really fortunate to still be able to play music for a living after all this time. These days I’m doing a couple different types of live gigs: a “Todd Cowart - one man band” performance (where I sing and play guitar while also playing a Farmer Footdrum), a solo performance (guitar and voice and a very little bit of looping), and an instrumental guitar performance. I have been playing guitar professionally since graduating college in 1997 from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Jazz Guitar. Before moving to Whitefish, MT in 2018 with my wife and 2 kids, I had long standing gigs as a solo performer in Hilton Head Island, where I performed 6 nights a week for 17 years at Steamer (1998-2014) and then at The Salty Dog Cafe for 3 years (2014-2017). With over 200 gigs each year for the last 25 years, I have accumulated an expansive repertoire of tunes, an ability to read a crowd, and (hopefully) make people happy.
